.. Tuesday Again ..

I don't even have an excuse for not updating. Zilch, nothing, Nada. :P My last exam is in two days, so I have been reading up and doing problems for the past few days. Still lots more to do though, unfortunately. I'm feeling weird today. Maybe tired...maybe apprehensive...maybe in need for change. Who knows.

Next week I start summer school. And working three days a week. That should be interesting. So far I am enrolled in Psychology of the Family. I'm still working on Cognition, but so far, no luck. I'll probably just go to the lectures anyways, and ask the prof if they'll give me permission to join. We'll see how that goes.

I'm kinda pissed about work though. Bryan used to work with us, and then he got promoted, and not he works in Mississauga, instead of with us at the Zoo. So technically, he's not OUR employee anymore. But now, all of a sudden, he's in everybody's business, planning schedules that Ada and I ALREADY made, and changing things without telling us what he's changing! I told him that I want to do the special function billing and tracking, and then he writes on the schedule that I have to train the new guy on it. WHY? I'm the one that will be doing them anyways. I said I don't mind doing Inventory keying, and I have to train the new dude on that too. GRRR... It's just frustrating that everything is up in the air, and nothing is being explained. And, now that Bryan is gone, I am doing a bunch of stuff that HE did before, and my poisition is still the same, and I haven't had a raise or anything....

.......... *SiGH* I sound like a whiney little kid :( .........

I got my hair cut last Tuesday. It sits pretty much on my shoulders now, like it did when I got it cut last time. I'm brutal for getting my hair cut...like every four months, and that is it.

Whatever.

.. Monday Musings ..

Happy Easter Monday!

12.57pm on Monday Afternoon. Mum picked up two more pieces of the bathing suits I bought. Super cute, AND they fit awesome :D They back-orded one piece though, the one I liked the most...I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it comes in or not.

I got to go to Walmart on Thursday. I have a love-hate relationship with that place...I know some of the goings-on in their company practices, and I am not all that comfortable with them. But...They do have some nice and inexpensive pieces, which is the drawing factor. We're going to be getting a new one in Bowmanville in th next year or so. And that is one thing I am certainly not thrilled about. It will DESTROY all the downtown businesses. Grr...

So I'm watching Chocolat right now. [Johnny Depp, Yeehaw!]This movie is wicked. Makes me hungry for chocolate, which isn't great, since I have some easter eggs sitting here right beside me!!

Only one exam left, YEEHAW!! So I wrote my linguistics Exam at 2.30 on Saturday. I think it went quite well. Only took me an hour and a half of 2.5 hours available, and I felt like I knew the answer to everything - I LOVE it when that happens!!

Tuesday night, [7.00 PM!!] I wrote Environmental Studies. It went...well...but not as good as the two other exams I wrote so far. I'm hoping for an A, so we'll see how it goes. The part that got me frustrated was that he told us we'd get a choice of 2 essay questions, and then he only gave us one!!

At this time two weeks from now I will hopefully be finishing up my last exam of this year! Go me! Statistics though...I'm so hoping and wishing that I can pull off an A+ in that course..I need it to help pull my GPA up a bit higher. I know that I am still going to qualify for my scholarship next year, which is great. But it would be nice to keep my GPA similar to last year as well.

I picked up some stuff from the Sears Store today. I love Mail Ordering! Especially since I can't seem to make it to the mall these days. I got a new hooded vest in "Taupe" which I LOVE. And I got 1/2 of one bathing suit that I ordered, so I am still waiting on the last 3 pieces. $12.99 each piece - you can't go wring with that!!

There's this cute little white skirt "Cover Me - White Frilled Skirt" that I am thinking of ordering too. Such a nerdy description, LOL, but it is cute, and will be great for the beach too. Plus it is only $24.99.

OH! I ordered from Amazon.ca yesterday too. I've never done that before! I got three books, all by Francesca Lia Block [I love her books!!]:

Granted, I have to pay $6.95 shipping per book, but it is still cheaper than buying them from the store. I probably shouldn't have bought them, because I don't have a lot of money, but whatever. I love reading, and now I have a little bit of time to do it, so I might as well make the most of it.

I just read "The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult too. I read the whole thing in 2 days!! About a girl who gets raped by her ex-boyfriend, and the stuff she goes thorugh whiel preparing for the trial and what-not. Had me in tears a few times, that's for sure.

Anyway...Ellen is on, and I have run out of things to say!!

And guess who hasn't even cracked a book for that exam yet :s
I still have a whole NOVEL to read for tomorrow night.

Anyway. I'm watching Thumbellina and cleaning my room. And now I'll go and do some work. Even if it's just a little bit.

And I was HOME!! [and I really DO have red shoes. I'm wearing them RIGHT now...in the house. whoops!]

I love knowing that I get to stay home for the next 5 months. Even though I still have to write 3 exams, and even though I have summer school through May and June, I still get to live at home [.and at Nathan's.]

I can't wait to ScrapBook. I haven't been able to in months and months. and most of the scrapbooking I did then got shipped off to Michigan to go on display. Which, don't get me wrong, is wicked cool :o) But I like seeing them sometimes too. I have a whole pile of pictures I need to edit and get printed as well. Some of them are really crummy quality, but they are SO funny, so they need to get scrapped anyways! Like this one!! [LOL! this is Me and my buddy Jenn [Nathan's Cousin Matt's Girlfriend] at Matt's house two weekends ago. I'm the one with the green turban, lol! Those are actually pyjama pants on our heads. And no, we weren't quite ourselves when this photo was taken :) ]

Friday night we were up until FIVE AM at Matt's house, partying and what-not. It was so much fun! I never really partied in high school, because I didn't want to drink, and i wasn't comfortable being with that many drunk people. But I'm getting used to that, LOL :S. Needless to say, most of us were feeling pretty good on Friday night, and Nathan was feeling much too good to drink home, so the two of us just stayed at Matt's. And we went to be sooo early in the morning, and then got up five hours later. I'm still trying to recover from the lack of sleep!

So, Nathan and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Saturday, after making our way home from Matt's house. He even suprised me with flowers :D I wasn't expecting them at all, and they are beautiful! More lillies [which are my favourites] and they are white, and pink and white this time. And blooming like CRAZY! I'll have to take a few pictures and post them. I didn't even get a picture of the two of us on Saturday [I'm a bad scrapper!!]. But we both looked so dead that it would have been a rotten photo anyways!

But, he took me to the Keg for dinner, which was SUPER yummy, and we got there early enough that we did not have to wait in line, and we hardly had to wait for our food either. We both had chicken and ribs. I had a baked potato, and he had fries, and my chicken had teryaki sauce, instead of honey BBQ. [ i LOVE teryaki sauce!!]
